1984. Fun summer to be a Cubs fan. I remember Hebner saying after a game that he was getting fined for ignoring sign and not taking on 3-0 pitch. And he hit a home run on that 3-0 pitch.

Man, I miss Skip. Even when he would embarrass me on air (as the TBS Stage Manager) and the camera would zoom into me but I had no way to reply. He was always trying to “break” me. All in good fun.
