You can change the date & time on a photo timestamp. They tried to get your ass. 🤣

And why some people take towels too 😂😂😂😂

Yip

If she wasn’t even IN the property by the time she supposedly took that photo then yeah you are 100% in the right.

The guy in the video says “cost to repair” but then the invoice says “replace”, so it’s pretty clear both the guest and owner are liars. A single crack can be repaired for a fraction of that invoice.

Quit AirBnBs 2yrs ago. The whole experience is like CSI. You end up taking more pics of the property than your actual vacation & leave feeling like there’s something you might have missed. Go home worried you’ll get some invoice for an obscure broken whatever. You don’t have a timestamp pic so obvs you’re responsible. And don’t tell me owners don’t have spy cams everywhere-bc they do.

I rented a condo. I accidentally broke a shot glass out of a set. I could not find anything similar so I notified them and bought six matching to replace. They were floored I did it but very appreciative. That’s the way I was raised. You break it, you replace it.

You did nothing wrong. You did in a professional way. Guest just didn't want to pay for something they did.
