There is no bug here If you look at it the Xbow was done deploying before you placed your giant It ignored the Dark prince cuz there is an Evo archer shot on the way that would kill it Troops in this game usually shoot something else if a projectile is going to kill a target

Looks like xbow just has the same targeting ai as the princess tower. The archer was landing a killing blow on the DP, so instead of xbow targeting DP, xbow targets the tower, and the giant comes in just a little too late to block that.

Its not a bug its a feature of the game. Since the archer already released the shot that will kill the Dark Prince, the X-Bow won’t target a unit that already took the last shot. It’s basically the game’s smart targeting feature.
