The joint at Woodstock was 1-2% THC. A joint in the 1990s was around 5%. The flower a budtender sells you today is 20-30%. And the vape is not a joint at all. Alex Berenson: "It's not even smoking. It's inhaling from a vape that might be 95% THC." "This is not a plant at all. It's just a chemical to get you high." From 1-2% to 95%. Getting that much THC into your body used to take all day. "Fifty years ago, if you wanted to get enough THC into your body to really get high and potentially get psychotic, you just smoke a lot. You had to use a bong... You kind of had to smoke all day." "Now you can walk around with this little device and inhale massive amounts of THC. And that really is a change that has made the product a lot more dangerous."

Senator Cook: “Since you brought up meth and fentanyl, are there any reported overdose deaths from THC?” Senator Perry: “Well, there’s been no data tracking it.” Senator Cook: “There have been extensive reports and testing showing that THC does not cause overdoses in humans or animals.”
