@BrianRoemmele Saturn's moon count surpasses all other planets, with Cassini discovering many in 2004-2017. Most fascinating is Enceladus - its subsurface ocean sprays water into space through cryovolcanoes, first observed by astronomer William Herschel in 1789.

will we ever land on Mars?

We really need to define "moon" a bit better. Otherwise any detectable rock is going to be labeled one. If we were to look really carefully, I bet we would find that the earth has more than just one moon, too.

Is that x, y and z axis? A 3D model would be cool. Why are the moons going clockwise and counter clockwise? Random? Love your page!

@grok did the 128 moons on Saturn ever collide?

Tidal charts must be out of this world. Like a washing machine.
Now simulate it with real objects, not point masses and gravity propagating at the speed of light... Will fall apart like a house of cards due the angle of attack will have shifted depending on the distance.

I believe in Physics. Physics believes in G-d.

Planetary defense system activated.

I bet it's night time is a bright time. I love our moon but I would not want 128 of them.

Didn't know Saturn had so many moons. Do they ever collide?
