Looks like DMK is playing petty politics involving Vijay’s personal life! This post is not to defend Vijay or his actions but to underscore how politics turns dirty when leaders’ personal lives are dragged into the spotlight. Vijay’s alleged affair with “an actress” has been common knowledge for years, with many photos surfacing on social media. But the key question is, why has Vijay’s wife Sangeetha stayed silent all these years despite admitting that she knew about the affair long back? This is where DMK’s dirty politics looks evident and apparent. DMK has a history of launching personal attacks on political adversaries when it can’t win on merit. It did the same to Kamaraj, MGR, and Jayalalithaa. Vijay has now fallen victim to DMK because of his own indiscretion on the eve of elections. However, I believe personal lives never determine election outcomes, and these cheap tactics from DMK will only generate sympathy for Vijay. Is that what DMK wants? Making reels for personal instagram should not be criticised and trolled. In private sphere anyone can make reels for personal account. It doesn't behove well to troll for cringey reels( everyone is cringe on their instagram). The focus shall be only on the fact that a paramilitary officer shall not get political and more important shall not take it personal. The personal condescendingly mocking the students is the bad part. Cringey reels are universal. And private instagram account shall not be brought into debate. Everyone has a life.
