Maybe the 80s weren't awesome in Canada, eh? That must be why Ryan moved to the US as fast as he could. For me? The service introduced me to German white wines, Scottish single malts, Italian food and red wine, and a truly awesome gyros cart in downtown Riyadh.

It was a great decade. Some of my fondest memories are from that decade!

I was born in 86 so I don’t remember it much, but the movies, music and President were awesome. And even though I grew up during the 90s, I also drank from a garden hose. Had to let it run for a while to let the water get cold though. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is my fave

Americans are starving for patriotic, family or Christian movies that release streaming the same day as in theaters. The 80s had their issues but in general, people were nicer and happier bc things were more affordable including movies. That’s what I miss most.

miss the 80s.. summer holidays train trips to london on my own, clubbing, no social media, brilliant music, real friends, exploring, drinking no being wrapped up in cotton wool. you fell over, you picked yourself up, we had manners,respect for the older folk and the police

80s culture, from the fashion to the music to movies and tv, and even sometimes the politics, were a celebration of life. It's the closest thing to Heaven I've ever experienced.
