A loop of AI agents built me a gun. It just can't make it shoot. Day 11 of building GTA 6 with a loop of agents. Yesterday I said today they'd learn to steal cars and shoot. Today's progress: - 2 weapons in - Pickup system works (we can grab weapons now) The downside: you pull the trigger, nothing happens. The loop is incredible at the overall, but shooting is the main part of the game, so I think we wire this one up ourselves. So here is the progress I'm taking shooting and sitting down to learn the physics myself with agent as support. At the same time J A Z I I takes driving by hand. The agents keep doing what they're good at. They're building out the police system and the economy right now, while I type this. Also spent the weekend in SF at a Tripo3D Donut event learning 3D art.

I tested my V02 max for the first time today: 🫀 57.4 ml/kg/min According to ChatGPT, that's the top 5–10% of men my age. The test was done in a lab using the Bruce protocol. Every 3 minutes, treadmill speed and incline increase: - stage 1: 4 km/h at 10% grade - stage 2: 5.5km/h at 12% - stage 3: 6.7 km/h at 14% - etc etc I passed out at the end of stage 5. It's just a horrible test because you're fighting inner demons to get a little farther. V02 max is a key biomarker in predicting longevity, so from now on, I'll focus my training on increasing that number.

I didn't hear Penny call my name at the finish line. And tjo shem she tried. I think I know why I didn't hear her shout my name.....My goal was an 11:15 - 11:20 finish. We started in batches of 3 and I was in the 3rd wave. Out of habit, I switched my Garmin off twice at a water point and forgot to switch it back on for a while. My timing was off and I had no idea what time it was. I wasn't worried as I knew I was comfortably ahead of cut-off. At 72 kms, I heard a fellow runner tell another that "We have 2 and a half hours left to finish. We will come in at 11:10." Silly me didn't realize that these were group 2 runners and they had started earlier. Which meant I had even more time to finish and I'd caught up with many Group 2 runners. I had judged myself according to their progress. As I came closer to the finish line I saw the Group 3 clock say 10:58:22. I was stunned, mentally frozen so I switched off and chased my bronze medal with 1 minute 7 seconds to spare. A 10:58:53 finish was satisfying.

When I first started lifting weights I struggled to hit 135 on squats for 10 reps. Yes, I was that much of a chicken shit. I weighed 205 and I was pretty lean because I had been riding the exercise bike for 2-1/2 hours a day 5 days a week and doing keto for like a year prior to that. Now, after 2 years of dedicated training 4 days a week, I can now squat 540. That’s an official number at a meet. So thing is…fitness is a journey. My goal is to be squatting 600 by November. We will see. Getting there is half the fun! Enjoy the process!

Another score in the 60s! Round 2 of The Manchester Open at Didsbury Golf Club Backed up yesterday’s 67 (-2) with a 69 (Level) today. Didn’t quite strike it as well as I have in previous rounds, but managed my way around and kept it tidy. Only a couple of mental errors which cost me and some horrible lip outs! Another round in the 60s and another step in the right direction. This puts me at T31 in a deep field full of top PGA pros — a solid position, but still around 10 shots off the winning score. Plenty of work ahead, and I know I need to keep pushing to close that gap. Really happy with how the season is shaping up and the progress I’m making. Big thanks to my playing partners over the past few days, always makes a difference having a good group out there. Onward and upward! #trusttheprocess
