DEFUND THE ABC What is a “big and dangerous mistake” is to "legitimise" the far-left propaganda machine known as the ABC with over a billion dollars of taxpayers’ money. The arrogance and stinking hide of these people is astonishing — their lavish lifestyles are funded by the very people they sneer at, and whose views they do not even consider legitimate. Enough is enough. It’s long past time to completely defund the ABC, strip it of its taxpayer teat, and force it onto a voluntary subscription model. If their “journalism” is so brilliant and unbiased, let the public who actually want it pay for it fund it themselves — instead of forcing every Australian to subsidise this partisan far-left echo chamber.

Given that Trump is suing the BBC for $1.5 billion - What financial risk has the ABC exposed Australian taxpayers to by putting to air completely fake news and intentionally defamatory stories about President Trump ? Especially when the lies and disinformation peddled by the ABC were far more egregious than those of the BBC. The ABC is not a news network- they are a leftist propaganda machine that is prepared to stoop to doctoring videos and photo to advance their leftists agendas. On Wednesday I was listening to the ABC and they had an interview with Australia’s leading nuclear expert, the former head of ANSTO at Lucas Heights, Dr Adi Paterson. I’ve known Dr Paterson from my days as the member for Hughes, where Australia’s only nuclear reactor is located, and I consider him one of the smartest blokes I’ve ever met. He knows his stuff inside out. Dr. Paterson cut the ABC interviewer to pieces as he methodically debunked every leftist anti-nuclear meme with evidence and the science. Now the ABC normally posts these interviews on their various websites and social media platforms, but nowhere could I find a recording of this most important interview anywhere in the ABC. Given that the nuclear debate is now of such national significance to Australia‘s future, you’d think an ABC interview with Australia’s leading nuclear expert would be given absolutely priority to be posted on the ABC’s platforms. But instead, as Dr. Paterson’s comments contradicted the ABC’s leftist anti-nuclear narrative it appears to have been censored. If the ABC have in fact censored this, that should be the final straw, the ABC should be defunded. The attached recording of this interview is from Nuclear Australia’s YouTube page.
