Nobody is trying to silence Mark Kelly. Captain Kelly (USN, Ret) can speak all he wants. But his oath demands that he not disrupt the moral and good order and discipline of servicemember over whom he has authority as an officer in the United States Military. When Kelly improperly counseled servicemembers outside of the chain of command to refuse orders of the Commander in Chief, he usurped the lawful authority of the President, the Joint Chief, and the Officers appointed over them. He created doubt and confusion among the ranks as to when it was appropriate to carry out their duties. This insubordination to authority justifies removing the privileges he was formerly entitled to as a member of the Officer Corps. One of those privileges is rank. Slimy little shit weasels like John Ossof will never understand what watchwards like Duty, Loyalty, or Honor mean. He will never understand why the cohesiveness of our fighting forces is absolutely essential to our nation's defense. But Kelly does. Which makes his brazen act of political opportunism so thoroughly disgusting. His dishonor and shame far exceeds that of the other elected representatives who similarly attempted to interfere in another branch. We all took an oath. Some of us took it seriously.
