Far out, what is happening to this league. Next it'll be training with inflatable AFL balls 🤦♀️

This current administration are control freaks. Changing the game is one thing, now you're controlling what the clubs can do inside their own walls

Dopey Dillon and Co are absolutely cooked

Will = worse tackling techniques and players not knowing how to deal with contact which means a higher likelihood of injuries...this is one of the worst things to happen to the game

AFL administrators are retarded Khunts

This will have a major adverse effect players arnt being exposed to being tackled more often and how the are brought to ground, players arnt practicing how to tackle as often so will likely to do it incorrectly causing themselves or others injuries

Interestingly, in the NRL concussions have increased since it implemented these changes in.....oh the 2026 season.

Humiliating league

This is a disgusting overstep from the AFL. Footy is a contact sport, if they are too worried about getting sued (because lets not kid ourselves about this being about protecting players) then they might as well pack up the whole game now

Tackling is a fundamental of this sport! You can’t stop clubs from training and teaching it. It’s like saying clubs aren’t allowed to kick a footy until round 1. This league man! Stop micro managing ffs

This competition has become so fkn gay

the new CEO is the worst in AFL history.

Why are the AFL gagging to be like the NFL?

The AFL has lost the plot 😂🤦

AFL are like any shit socialist government, best they back off and let the clubs do what’s best.

This will end well for the players who then lose the ability to prepare for in game contact and practice technique

= more injuries nice one afl

They’re changing the rules to protect themselves from future litigation and it’s killing our game

Better get the flags out, it’s about to be flag football

@tommorris32 The @AFL to introduce players to be able to "train from home" so a player won't have to come into the club if he/she chooses not to "train from home" will be put into legislation by the victorian government. @kangatvshow @kanecornes @NMFCOfficial

As if any more proof was needed that the administers of the game have never played and have no feel for the game. Next it will be Auskick's no tackling & keeping score.

@tommorris32 Garbage decision.

The AFL is cooked

Are they allowed to use a ball too 😉

2027 and they’re already turning training into a non-contact Auskick session, footy’s cooked. Soon they’ll be wrapping the blokes in bubble wrap and calling it high performance.

lol what an absolute joke might as well call it Touch AFL 🤦♂️

Shut the doors, these Dictators are destroying the sport.

Nazi league. Can't even comment either.

Eh but why are we now listening to tom morris takes on anything. Not making the footy experience better for anyone.

@tommorris32 where are my limits to work days @AlboMP?

Players union list of demands. Players want long careers and no ongoing issues after retiring.

Aflsoccer coming to you at your nearest Aussie rules ground. No need to book your ticket there will be hundreds of empty seats available. AFL management now dictating how clubs conduct training, the game is done as it was intended to be played.

🤣
