Not saying to ban handshake lines but in particularly heated games maybe officials should inform coaches that they take their teams straight to the locker room when the buzzer sounds. I’m all for sportsmanship but emotions are often running too high and we are asking for issues.

I’m probably biased as I’m a Male alum, but I’m OK with some fire in 7th region rivalry games like this. Haworth isn’t a rookie. Been coaching a long time. God forbid we have a little passion among two of the state’s best teams.

No idea why this showed up on my timeline, but I kept wondering why they were referring to the coach as a male coach. And then I finally figured it out. Kind of made me laugh.
