The Albanese government has unveiled a $1.7 billion spend on hi-tech, long-range missiles, capable of striking an enemy 1,500 kilometres away. Reece D'Alessandro has more on the deal. #9News

@R_DAlessandro9 What a waste of money 🥵

@R_DAlessandro9 @AlboMP has no idea. #auspol

@R_DAlessandro9 Meanwhile Australian's are enduring a cost of living crisis, families sleeping in tents and their cars but sure let's spend up but on missiles!

@R_DAlessandro9 Soon to Destroy a desperately poor family in a land that the Australian tax payer-voter can barely pronounce all in the name of foreign policy. But makes money and gives jobs to some right?

@R_DAlessandro9 I see Darwin to Shanghai is 4857 Km away So the missiles will be loaded on to sea vessels In other words Australian vessels to sail internationally to fire missiles?

@R_DAlessandro9 meanwhile I have 3 bucks in my account, no food in the fridge holding out till pay day tomorrow night. but cool, missiles and shit our adversaries will laugh at.

@R_DAlessandro9 Absolute insanity. This is billions spent to lick Uncle Sam's ass and implement his aggressive foreign policy. Bugger all to do with defending Australia. This is a bloody disgrace.

@R_DAlessandro9 Really?! yet the #ALP has risked the health of Oz communities by screwing up the Pharmaceutical Industry but ok to invest in long range missiles? Go back to the drawing board and find a system that benefits EVERYONE, not just a few. @Mark_Butler_MP @SYLPaus #auspol

@R_DAlessandro9 Deflection to Albozos 1 page Uluru Statement lies. Ceding property rights to the UN ....for the Aboriginal protection of course.

@R_DAlessandro9 The homeless, hungry and increasing numbers of unemployed will be ecstatic
