I see that Oju-Ore bridge and the ongoing construction regularly. The work they are doing is awful. You don't even need to be an engineer to know that those people are doing rubbish. Initially they wanted to use interlocking but I think govt forced them to use concrete.

After the Ojuore bridge, they have been doing something shady. The edges of both roads, are being constructed with Cement whilst the main road is in Tar. How can the same road have Bitumen and the edges are in Cement and it's not a Walkway?

This is the poorest constructed road in Nigeria history. It's the reason you will never see the Minister, Dave Umahi visiting the site to monitor the progress of work. They used an International Expressway as political compensation.

@ItsDAnomaly Check out all the roads Dapo Abiodun constructed, they are all substandard. He use’s bricklayers for all roads, they are all bare minimum. During construction, you will just wonder who swear for Ogun

The Asphalt road done on the left side when going to iju from oju ore is rubbish. In less than 6 months something parts are already having big pots hole.

You have said it all. The indigenous people of the places where the project is going on should play a major role in supervising the quality and standard of the construction. Once the project is completed and commissioned under poor standard, the government won't care for anything

The soil preparation they did for interlocking is the same they used for concrete Give the road or project 10 years, it will go back to the way it was 20 years ago They should ask the contractor how many years the road will last and make them do maintenance

The annoying thing is that @DaveUmahi hasn't visited this particular project to supervise them!

Firstly, they’ve spent a lot for the interlocking they did first, after seeing that won’t work, they removed it and changed to concrete. There is nothing you can tell me that the quality of it will be like if concrete was the first idea. This is a very substandard project

The concrete roads being constructed in Ogun State are for the most part, nothing to write home about. Take a look at the one under the Sango bridge it's already cracked. These roads are not done properly. The most annoying part is that we'll still suffer for it in a few years.
