What makes you so entitled to a “Tier 1” city? Move to the Midwest. @GenZMultifamily has a really nice apartment you can rent from him.

@GenZMultifamily Do you have a mental disability we should know about?

@GenZMultifamily Whats wrong?

I live in Central Florida and make very good money and anyone disagreeing with your logic is simply wrong. The cost of shelter on an inflation adjusted basis has never been higher. It is what it is.

You could do the same thing with Orlando and it’d be better but not by much Massive, global housing bubble

Winter Park is the closest to your example and less extreme but still the ratios are so out of whack. I remain perplexed at how shelter cost can be this high relative to overall income levels. There is also so much “equity” driving overall net worth vs. liquid financial assets it seems very dangerous to me but somehow it just keeps going. Perhaps one day the music stops.

Check out Spain man, get a good CPA

I’m a product manager and even with a fairly meteoric rise, my income cannot compete with inflation. And let’s talk about how companies are treating employees. Over the past five years I’ve watched jobs move to India with a decrease products shipping or having value, so the burden on the few remaining US employees has increased exponentially. The bonuses disappeared. The Christmas parties, the office space, the travel budget has all gone. But we keep hitting revenue goals. And how about the idiotic demand to just stick AI on everything with a total disregard for quality. Boomers running the country and corporations is destroying us. All they care about is their own wealth, maintaining power and optics. In total bullshit.

This is gold. The level of lifestyle my wife and I had to live for a decade to get into our first home was robbery. Dual income 400k+ combined , lived like college students renting for 8 years after 6 years of higher education, just bought our first home at 40 years old.

You’re losing credibility with these posts, pal

You’re about to get bombed with 99 million much cheaper alternatives in other locations.

Great. We can do this for every city. @bot are you ready ?

I tried. I failed.

Do you need a loan? Happy to underwire. SOFR + 280 with a shirtless video covenant added

Can it be like a LeBron Bond?

For you? Yes

Where do I sign

We’re in the permanent underclass dude it’s over. Boomers made a fortune and pulled the ladder up behind them.

Find a MYLF, i've never once seen a MYLF without a mansion

True. The real answer is boomer sugar mommys

check for broken pool filters

Then don't live in SoCal.

This belief that 'the only place where there's actual income to be made' is in a 'tier 1 city' is very very silly.

Do you want to look at GDP per capita in various cities… ?

$500 for the guy that is stating the obvious pay him his money

You earned yourself a follow strictly due to passion

I held it off as long as I could as late 80's and early 90's as a bank examiner that was causing a credit crunch.

You’re not in the club bud

Dude, you’re in California. Be smart and MOVE

What city should I do next?

People like you should consider targeting a nice middle class - maybe borderline upper middle class - area that’s not extremely expensive and gentrify it. Turn it into a desirable, upscale area.

Why the should I work as hard as I do to settle? That’s ridiculous

Boomers literally so stupid …

🎯

Maybe side hustle on OF?

How do u think I’m making this money?

I agree mostly but you also do not have to live in one of the most expensive cities in the country let alone the world my man haha
