@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees Im sure the analytics don’t tell you to not catch the ball and to run the bases like idiots… has nothing to do with data and analytics…

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees Analytics is when Aaron Judge drops a flyball apparently

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees It’s funny you say that because Dodgers analytics cover that too

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees 'The analytics crowd' just won the world series

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees But it is working. They made the world series. The problem is the "analytics department" can't account for a sample size of 3-7 games. All it takes is one bad start from a pitcher to be eliminated

What people never understand is that analytics are a philosophical issue - a .385 OBA, for instance, says nothing about will happen in a next at bat. There is zero logical necessity. This is explored by David Hume during the Enlightenment and later Goodman in “The New Riddle of Induction.”

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees Putting Nestor in over Tim Hill in game 1 had to be them ignoring the analytics because no way the numbers suggested that Nestor was the better choice in the spot

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees Yes, they need to play more like those old school Dodgers, run by that famed analytics foe, Andrew Friedman.

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees Lol nooo, you're telling me the analytics ppl don't constantly act like entitled tyrants?? Id ask @fangraphs but they blocked me. And they're probably too busy playing w/ Hegelian Dialectics to respond anyway

@Ken_Rosenthal @Yankees But ken. How are these guys getting to the bigs and playing 162 games plus spring training and they dont know how to run bases better than a high schoolers from 1974?
