This paper is describing something which sounds remarkably similar to an ECDO state 2 to state 1 rotation a half a billion years ago. Excerpts from Evidence for a Large-Scale Reorganization of Early Cambrian Continental Masses by Inertial Interchange True Polar Wander, Kirschvink et al. (1997): "..at least two tectonic plates, involving more than two-thirds of Earth's continental lithosphere, were involved in a rapid rotation of ~90° relative to the spin axis. We speculate that the entire lithosphere may have been involved in this rotation. // The new ages, along with paleomagnetic data, indicate that continents moved at rapid rates that are difficult to reconcile with our present understanding of mantle dynamics. // The pole for this sequence is >80° away from the Vendian-Early Cambrian poles, implying that Australia underwent a large rotation while remaining near the equator sometime between Tommotian and Late Cambrian time. // Australia rotated counterclockwise during this time. // Antarctica, India, Africa, South America, and perhaps parts of East Asia also rotated with Australia. // True polar wander (TPW) is the process through which quasi-rigid spheroids align their maximum moments of inertia with the spin axis, pushing positive mass anomalies toward the rotational equator. // A variant of this mechanism, inertial interchange true polar wander (IITPW), involves discrete bursts of TPW of up to 90° in geologically short intervals of time if the magnitudes of the intermediate and maximum moments of inertia cross. Physics professor Walter Lewis demonstrating gyroscope precession. A gyroscope is a device used for maintaining or measuring angular velocity and orientation. Precession is a change in the orientation of the rotational axis of a rotating body. The gyroscope effect was discovered in 1817 by Johann Bohnenberger; the gyroscope was invented, and the effect named after it, in 1852 by Léon Foucault for an experiment involving the rotation of the Earth. The video shows the defeat of a Russian tank assault column by Ukrainian Warriors of the 79th Air Assault Brigade. In the area of Kurakhove, Donetsk region, the Russians tried once again to break through our defenses by sending a column consisting of three newest T-72B3M tanks, two APCs with paratroopers, and a group of motorcyclists. The tanks were equipped with additional protection in the form of a shed on the turret, electronic warfare systems, mine-sweepers. Despite such preparations, the column did not reach the Ukrainian positions - 3 tanks hit mines and were completely destroyed by drones. Both APCs were also hit. At least 6 Russian soldiers were destroyed by grenades that were dropped by from Mavic drones. One of the Russian soldiers tried to hide in the basement of a large dilapidated building, and then the building was destroyed by a Ukrainian guided aerial bomb. Another brilliant work of the Defenders of the 79th Brigade. Glory to the Heroes!

Our very own Alexander Chen created "Hello, world" a short film inspired by the technology of his childhood with Google Labs Flow. Here's a closer look at how he brought his vision to life: 1) All of the clips were generated in Flow using text-to-image prompts except he used image-to-video prompts for the close-up shots to ensure consistency and accuracy (and the images used were generated by Imagen). 2) To evoke the exact feelings of his childhood home, he used Google Street View for visual references then asked the Google Gemini to write descriptions and prompts, then uploaded those into Flow which is what produced such vivid and accurate renderings in the film. 3) Every sound used in the video is generated by Veo 3. However, to blend things together, he used a separate video editing software to extend the head and tail of each clip over the proceeding and following clip, occasionally crossfading the audio to help with transitions.

Yet, Cardinal Reina warned that the present is not a time for nostalgia or fear-driven retreat. Rather, the Church is called to radical fidelity — to embrace a new heaven and a new earth, without succumbing to the temptation to cling to past certainties or worldly alliances. True fidelity, he argued, also means discerning the spirit of the reforms started by Pope Francis and pursuing them with courage, seeking leadership that resists fear and worldly compromise, and remains rooted in Gospel compassion and unity.

Polish channels showed a video of a girl with a baby in Dnipro at the moment the city was being shelled by russians. We went to read the comments and was just shocked by what Poles were writing in the comments. We would immediately thought they were ru bots, but then we started going to their accounts and realized that these were not fake accounts.

It’s the last production day of 2025 at Giga Texas & it seems to be a Model Y Performance day to boot! I’ve added a real time video showing the pace of vehicles exiting the factory, but with a new twist. The cars are being driven out of the factory and down the ramp by employees, then autonomously about 1.3 miles to the West End of Line facility for final processing. This may be due to interior preparations for upgrades and maintenance on the production lines over the next few weeks. In any case, enjoy these views of a rare Friday production day!
