Yutaka Nakamura sequence again, his old stuff are still fucking great ot this day.

It reminds me of his newer style just slower pace

His old animation has always been like that, fast to slow or slow to fast is his signature trademark but nowadays all of his current animation is just really fast with blender 3d backgrounds with 2d tracing put over it, but the camera is miles better and his action animation is alot more unique in certain areas ( although his old work is still kino )

Yeah same but it has to do with him learning blender to this day and mastering it, once he does it will no doubt be peak nakamura

I totally get the desire for a remake of the Soul Eater anime, it's fucking well deserved and I'd love one just as much as the next person. But I gotta say that with the exception of the non cannon ending this is still fucking beautiful to watch

Back then we don’t even notice the animation. We just watched the show because it was cool
