One could argue that LSU deserves to be ranked 8th, which would mean Clemson is just that bad. Maybe we just need to relinquish ourselves of the pre-season assumption that Clemson is a decent team…. Can you say Florida State 2.0?

Having lsu below Oregon notre dame and Indiana is insane given those teams had close games for chunks of the game and lsu obliterated a p4 team that was slated to contend for a conference title coming in. The other 4 above them did what they should so I can see them holding spot

I have LSU at 5 Clemson isn’t good, & Kiffin loses big games Ole Miss was better last season without Kiffin I want to see LSU play one of the big boys in the SEC before I give them any more than that

@JoshPateCFB - I’m fine with #8. We don’t really know how bad Clemson is just like last year when LSU was vaulted to #3 after barely beating Clemson. We’ll know by the end of the month if LSU is truly a top 3 or even #1 team.

Don’t understand ALL the LSU noise rn LSU beat an unranked team- regardless of historic pedigree, they did what they were supposed to do. Outside of ND (only up 3 at half vs Wis) and Oregon (DOWN at half vs Boise St), every other team ahead of them dominated their opponents too
