The attack on Elbit Systems in Bristol wasn’t the only one that involved violence against people. Palestine Action members used a rock on a rope to smash windows at Aztec West in March 2025. Three were later charged with assault by beating. Never forget it wasn’t a one-off.

Six Palestine Action activists have been cleared of aggravated burglary in connection with a break-in at the Bristol site of Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems. The jury at Woolwich crown court failed to reach a verdict on charges of criminal damage and violent disorder, and a charge against one defendant of causing grievous bodily harm. Prosecutors are now deciding whether to ask for another trial on the unresolved charges.

🇨🇿 #CzechRepublic: A newly emerged underground group, identifying itself as the "Earthquake Faction," set fire overnight to a Czech arms company called LPP Holdings, which has been cooperating since 2023 with the largest Israeli military manufacturer, Elbit Systems. The Czech company also built a "Center of Excellence" in the targeted complex and was involved in drone production with the Israeli company. Footage shows members of the Earthquake Faction breaking into the facility and setting fire to equipment allegedly used in drone production. After the attack, the group released a statement on its website, claiming to be a newly formed internationalist underground network that targets "key sites critical to the Zionist entity." They justified their action by stating that the Czech company is used as a means to develop weaponry used by Israel to massacre people daily in Palestine.

Judging by a video released two days ago, German-delivered MK 556 assault rifles seem to have entered service with the popular 3rd Assault Brigade. A bit of history about the German deliveries. Originally limited to 5,000 pieces, the MK 556 assault rifles supplied by Germany were initially exclusively handed out to various Ukrainian SOF units. Later, they were also handed over to the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, 95th Air Assault Brigade and then 58th Motorised Brigade. After the delivery of the initially promised 5,000 units was completed in March 2025, 800 additional assault rifles were surprisingly delivered in April 2025. Only one month later, MK 556 assault rifles were also spotted to be used by the 425th Assault Regiment. Since the MK 556 assault rifles are now also being used by the 3rd Assault Brigade, it is likely (although of course not proven) that deliveries have continued since the German government has largely stopped publishing details about newly delivered or pledged assistance in April 2024.
