#3 - Over the Christmas break, our teams have been busy constructing one of the most complicated parts of the HS2 project. Engineers used a five-day rail closure to safely complete two key viaduct spans over the existing railway, near Water Orton in Warwickshire. The Water Orton viaducts are at the northern end of the Delta junction and will allow southbound trains coming down the mainline to join the spur into Birmingham Curzon Street and the rolling stock depot at Washwood Heath.
