I made 7.45 an hour as an OB nurse when I graduated. Cashiers were making more. I say it's about time we got paid more to handle human life than cashiers do handling a head of lettuce.

My wife is a charge nurse in the south. As is she is a nurse who is also in charge of the other nurses to make sure everything runs smoothly. She makes $32 an hour. When she had a baby, she even had to use her own PTO because they don’t offer maternity leave
