There will always be resistance to change. The first man to light a fire was probably burned at the stake, but he saved man from darkness forever more

True! Predicting technology trends is complex and often counterintuitive. It requires not just understanding the tech, but also market needs, societal shifts, and regulatory landscapes. That's why industry experts and futurists get paid the big bucks, and even they don't always get it right. 🚀🔮💡

We went from 15 years since Lehman collapsed and fail to acknowledge the iPhone was released the same year And we complain the iPhone has become stagnant (it has) It moves fast

To be fair, they were thinking in personal finance/affordability terms, not in technology terms. It makes perfect sense to question buying a $3 burger on credit because you can’t afford it. Today, most payments are electronic. I receive my paycheck by direct deposit. I’ve never seen a paper check from my employer. I then buy nearly everything on a credit card, including groceries and all my Amazon spending. I then immediately transfer the money from my checking account to the credit card account. It’s just a payment method, not a personal finance/affordability issue. I carry almost no cash.
