`autofill` on inputs is ugly by default the background bleed ruins the clean design systems, especially in dark mode. fixed it with a pure CSS inset shadow hack: autofill:shadow-[inset_0_0_0px_1000px_var(--color-background)] to force the background color and kill the native blue.

Introducing Rivian Green—a color that reflects connection and harmony with the planet and our commitment to leaving it better for generations to come. Created in collaboration with PANTONE, this signature green was thoughtfully refined to live comfortably in nature and stand out on its own. Inspired by the green tones found in our manufacturing process, Rivian Green balances the tension between engineering and nature, evolving our original Launch Green into an enduring pillar of the brand. Explore the story behind the color and our partnership with Pantone:

Really cool use case I found with Gemini Omni. The model can listen to commands in the video and make adjustments based off of these commands. > Change the color of the background to whatever color the subject in the video says.

settings, accessibility/display/language, and then when you’re in it, press display to change color.. accessibility is to make it lighter, or the way it is ! also I think it only works for website so.. not sure though. I don’t use the app

This feature is what I am proud of the most! I have built an algorithm that searches images based on a color and the algorithm will sort images based on how close the color is to the color selected and how dominant that color is in the image.

Recently on a Color Drop video that went viral, people were mentioning the possible issues for players who are color blind, so I wanted to address this. Today I added a pulsing system for the color players need to get to, giving a stronger visual cue for those who are color blind. I personally am not color blind, but I love Color Drop and want others to enjoy it as well. I hope that this update will improve the experience for those who are color blind so they can enjoy it too!

Day 2 in Switzerland was awesome. We rode the steepest cable car on Earth up to the Schilthorn, had lunch in Mürren with the most beautiful lunch backdrop that I will ever see, then finished the day back in Wengen.

Safari 27 supports JSPI, a magic WebAssembly capability for sync native code to suspend on an async 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚎. On libfx uses the built-in browser 𝚏𝚎𝚝𝚌𝚑 stack to make API calls. As more code goes native, I expect WebAssembly to play a huge role in the future of the web.

The human eye contains no mechanism for detecting color. Photoreceptor cells detect electromagnetic wavelengths and convert them into electrical signals. The visual cortex then constructs the experience of color from those colorless frequency inputs. Every color perceived by any human being in history was built inside the brain. The external world contains no color. Only wavelength. Hubel, D.H. & Wiesel, T.N. Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. 1981.
