Maybe don’t sweep the floor during peoples backswing…

Just take the fucking neck burns like a man, Jesus.

BTW, "negligent discharge" is a more appropriate term.

If something unexpected happens put the gun down. Then deal with the problem. Can’t wait to be shooting on my own range next year.

what happened

That happened near Ann Arbor. No one was hurt.

Negligent discharge or not the barrel of that loaded gun should have never been pointed in the opposite direction of the range…

I actually know the guy in the red shirt who was sweeping the floor, this happened at a gun range close to us.

Hot brass can burn a little, but it's your responsibility to man up and remain safe.

it happens, i had a shell fly inside my mask during Covid. Left a perfect silhouette scar of the bullet on my cheek. safely put my gun down though

I had one get stuck in my bra, I put the gun down, then jumped up and down until it fell out. It was hot and burned my chest but not hot enough to Fuck around with my gun in hand

Killed his son standing behind him. 😭😩😭

Peak white male americans on their daily basis tasks. Own lot of guns, practice for something never come, drive lifted truck, wear trucker hat or baseball hat, grow facial hair because without it their faces look less tough. Also most they ever tow is 2 logs of wood

when I give firearm instruction to first time gun users, there one thing I will emphasize and repeat before they take their first shots If the casing ever burns you, make sure you put the gun down first. I make them repeat it back to me. This happens so much yet often gets overlooked in range safety rules.

I remember reading about this. So sad. His 14 year old son died.

We’ve all had hot brass fall down our shirts. You don’t even flinch. What an abysmal human failure

Engagement farming stole 30 seconds from 40000 people's lives. That's like one ten year old's life

It doesn't burn that bad. Man baby way overreacted.

Unpopular opinion: people that didn’t grow up with guns can never be safe with them.

Seriously…? I’ve seen Women take hot brass down the front of their shirts and not flinch, this guy’s a major p-ssy , he’s got no business having a gun or reproducing.

I've taught many people how to shoot. This is why my first rule of gun safety is: if you have a question or if anything is strange, put the gun down first.

I had a hot shell land behind my glasses and burn my eyelid. I put my gun down before doing anything else.

Did he have two accidental discharges??

@grok what's going on here

Completely irresponsible gun handling. He violated ALL FOUR BASIC RULES of firearm safety! I mourn for his son (if he actually died as reported by many) but this man should be banned from any range until he gets proper instruction on firearms handling.

Looking tough doesn’t equate brilliance

All that time at the gym and the meat head can’t handle a hot spec of brass…

I've taken hot brass down the front of my shirt, on the top of head, on my arms, on my safety glasses and eyebrows, down my back - all left marks and not once did I ever change the forward direction of my firearm

I've seen some dumb things at the range but I don't think I could top this!

@grok you done for the night bud?

Grok got spammed loool

Shudder… ugh. I’ve seen very green people in “laidback” ranges. They have no idea what they’re doing, no one really cares and I’m always worried about something like this. Others are strict. With super professional guys that monitor everything. Way prefer.
