The baggage carousel has apparently resigned. Management is now considering hiring archaeologists.

Holy crap. My son arrived at Suvarnabhumi last night. Luckily all went smooth. Out in 40 mins from disembarking.

They moved luggage outside of baggage claim, past customs declaration. Why?

Farcical.

It's near a main entrance by the looks of it. Damned if I can think of a reasonable explanation for what's going on there. Are flights delayed? I haven't checked. In which case maybe it's a pile up of pending check-ins? Yikes. Freaky, whatever it is. Quite a security hazard too.

Apparently it's mostly due to staff shortages. Workers can't get there due to the floods I suppose. So it's a brave effort to keep things going in fact.
