The bird in the first video is a red-tailed hawk while the second one is the bald eagle. If you've watched a lot of Hollywood, you would have associated a sharp raspy "shcreeeeeeeew" sound to the bald eagle. The truth is, the sound belongs to the red-tailed hawk. Bald eagles have a rather weak sound and Hollywood filmmakers felt that it's not regal enough for the national bird of the USA.

A big thank you to OWL Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society for their prompt rescue of this young bald eagle I found down on ground along the trail, he could walk but seemed unable to lift off and fly - I’ll update with more video as soon as I hear how’s he’s doing! 🥰🙏❤️🇨🇦🦅 Delta BC 🇨🇦positive thoughts 🙏
