Choppers. The goal is to get the ball close to the plate so it goes straight up. The longer it’s in the air, the harder it is for the defense to throw you out. I put a bucket a couple feet in front of the plate so it gave me a visual on where to place the ball. Hands go straight down while barrel stays straight up on the way to contact. The goal is to hit completely on top of the ball and drive it straight down.
