We are celebrating at Heritage the first phases of the unearthing of the graft and corruption that has happened in this city that, of course, is bipartisan, a bipartisan problem, but also is something that for all of us who want transparency, regardless of our politics, it's a good thing that happens. In addition to the creativity that Donald Trump himself brings to the Office, the innovation the Vice President brings to the Office, having someone with the success of Elon Musk to be a partner in this is really good. I find it sort of comical that all the chatter from House and Senate Democrats about Elon being unelected was never observed about George Soros or Alex Soros. And they, of course, with their creative destruction, have actually destroyed American institutions. The Trump-Vance revolution, that's two weeks in is actually restoring those. What Musk and Trump and Vance are doing is correcting what have been lapses by the radical left. Actually, worse than lapses, I dare say, intentional desires to totally ignore the Constitution by creating a fourth branch of government, the administrative state, that sees itself as more important than any president of the United States. There also has to be a legislative season, and that legislative season is going to be much more successful if the House and Senate gets going on the substance. Recap: An agnostic "Anglican" (Carlson) told a gay agnostic "Catholic" (Fuentes) that Evangelical Christians are heretics and he dislikes them more than ANYONE else on the planet, and Roberts sided against Evangelical Christians. Roberts could have simply said "We have disagreements, but we support dialogue." He didn't. He referred to evangelicals who criticize Carlson as a "venomous coalition" that is "sowing division." These are people who work for him and are supposed to back every policy proposal he makes, per Heritage's "One Voice" policy. And he told them that they're heretics. So now what? Keep dragging Roberts.
