Without that freedom, we don’t get better art. We simply put artists in a chokehold and suffocate life out of our culture. We need free inquiry and open debate. The arts- must - breathe freely again.”

Building on our partnership with Chicago Public Schools, we are proud to commit $1.7M through 2031 to expand arts education opportunities for the city’s young artists. This brings Lolla's total support for CPS arts to $3.9M since 2021. The donation advances two initiatives: All City Performing Arts, offering after-school music, dance, and theater ensembles for students, and the Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund, providing grants to expand in-school arts programs.
