According to science, it is wrong explanation, but willingly used as so understandable on low educational level. Lift forces are the consequence of difference of top and down pressures because of inclined wing of curved form and so-called "Coanda" moving of air on top side.

How do you explain lift on an inverted flight? How do you explain lift on a symmetric airfoil, like the supersonic jets? How does Horizontal stabilizer & elevator work? If slats & flaps increase lift, then why not use it throughout the flight? You leave a lot of questions buddy.

is right. Here is a more nuanced explanation (from ChatGPT): Lift is generated by a combination of factors: 1.Wing shape and angle (angle of attack): The wing is inclined relative to the oncoming air. Air hitting the wing is deflected downwards. Newton’s third law: pushing air down → air pushes wing up → lift. 2. Pressure difference (Bernoulli effect): The airflow over the curved top moves faster than below. Faster airflow → slightly lower pressure → contributes to lift. This effect is real, but it is not the sole cause. 3. Coanda effect: The tendency of a fluid (air) to follow a curved surface. Helps the airflow stick to the top of the wing and curve downward, enhancing lift. Often invoked as an explanation in “popular science” but is really a detail of flow behavior, not a standalone cause.

I like the P1V1 = P2V2 explanation.

Poor explanation regarding the airfoil. 1. Then why can planes with flat wings fly? 2. Why can planes fly upside-down? Airfoil helps; it's not "the reason" why they fly. Angle of attack is more important.

I dont know why the air above the wing has a moral duty to travel faster than the air below the wing

Wrong, the air particle on extrados (upper-surface) arrives before the one on the intrados (lower-surface).

How do planes fly upside down then? Wouldn’t the wing’s shape highlighted in this illustration push the plane towards the ground in that case?

It’s impressive that we were able to pull this off. Lift, maintaining and landing so much weight.

A better explanation…read it a couple times and this will make sense. Bernoulli is easier to understand but it’s not correct.

I thought it was due to Coanda effect and Newton's third rule.
