🇮🇷 Iranian foreign policy expert Khoshcheshm stated that the US planned operations to carry out kidnappings on Iranian territory according to the "Venezuelan scenario" during the 12-day war. According to him, it was planned to use individuals with dual citizenship and local support groups as a cover. Iranian intelligence uncovered this plan, arrested the entire support network, and thus thwarted the attempt of foreign special forces to infiltrate. He noted that individuals with dual citizenship arrived in Iran long before the events and were located approximately 100–200 kilometers from Tehran. One of them was a professional carpenter who came from Germany. He had high-end equipment, officially registered under the guise of furniture production and carpentry work. They made several wooden compartments intended for kidnappings. There were a total of three such compartments. These people were supposed to provide support for the operation. According to the plan, several groups of Israeli and American special forces were to be airdropped from outside. However, they were dealt such a severe blow, and the situation for them turned out to be so bad that the entire support group was arrested along with all the equipment. He emphasized that what was done in Venezuela was part of the same approach — the "shock and paralysis" operation: strike at several points, create shock, destabilize the situation, then quickly enter, kidnap the target, and leave. "Even today, they struck at several places, created shock, and then went and kidnapped Maduro. Did you think they didn't want to do the same to us? They wanted to — but they couldn't. They can't. And moreover, this doesn't even fit into their strategic framework anymore," he stated.

The girls say they were a group of 30 teenagers, girls and boys, who received money from someone (agent) in Germany. They were tasked to smoke cigarettes in front of police and insult them. Once the police acted, they were supposed to start a fight with them. If they were touched you, they had to throw themselves on the ground and yell, “They attacked us.” There was one main person, who was in contact with the agent in Germany, he’d receive the money and distribute it to others. They received 5 million tomans, which is roughly ~$38 in one-dollar bills.
