The BBC needs its credibility restoring and that starts at the top. The Chairman of the BBC is supposed to protect its independence. I don’t believe Richard Sharp has done or can do. He must now go.

The moment Tory donor and loan enabler Sharp was appointed by Johnson to join Gibb and Davie any hope of independence or impartiality was destroyed. The Tories want control of what is said in the media. That is what is at stake.

No party donor should ever be permitted to occupy a significant position at the BBC. Party donation is a clear public statement of political allegiance. It therefore runs counter to @BBC impartiality. Richard Sharp is a tory party donor. He must therefore be dismissed. #r4today

Murderers.

Those 26 shitehawks need revealing for purposes of public humiliation.

Richard Sharp and Robbie Gibb must go.

@Euan_MacDonald And Robbie Gibb, and Tim Davie. Senior management needs a fresh start without political commissars.
You are correct, the BBC is completely compromised by being infiltrated by the #Tory party. @BBCNews has become untrustworthy, particularly when it comes to reporting on and questioning the Conservative Government. There needs to be a compete clear out of Tory appointees.

@annewoulkins So the BBC are supposed to be independent yet you are putting pressure on them now . Do you not see the Irony in your comments ? Utter hypocrite

So you're putting political pressure on to the @bbc? Isn't that the same thing you accused the @conservatives of..🤦♂️ You lot of the left, really need to think before you tweet..
