Sorry, but isn't that the whole point of the licence fee: to give the BBC the ability to cater for minority interests free from the constraints of ratings and profits? If profit and ratings are so important, shouldn't it rely on ads to fund it, as the commercial channels do?
Most people can't connect to BBC DEI tokenistic projects.
