I literally can’t believe this is real The European Union just released official new guidelines stating that members of ISIS can now be granted asylum and imported into Sweden No seriously…. READ THAT AGAIN “I had to triple check this to make sure it was real. So the EUAA, the European Union Agency for Asylum, basically the organization that decides who gets to claim asylum within the borders of the European Union. Their new guidelines suggest granting asylum to ISIS affiliates in Sweden. Now, the wild part is they're not talking about people who are currently in Sweden. No, their new guidelines say that ISIS members living in the Middle East now have a reasonable fear of persecution, basically saying that ISIS fighters may no longer be safe in the Middle East and therefore should be permitted to claim asylum and go to Sweden. They have revamped their guidelines to shuttle ISIS fighters from the Middle East. These are dudes dedicated to Jihad. And because they feel they may no longer be safe in the Middle East, now they have to go to Sweden and Sweden has to let them in. I have no other way to put this than what the f*ck is going on?”

Channel 4 News cover the creation and rise of hotels for asylum seekers Your reminder that it was the Conservative government that created this problem by stopping the processing of asylum seeker applications because they thought their Rwanda scheme which only send 4 volunteers to Rwanda was the solution to the UK being outside the EU with Brexit and unable to return asylum seekers back to the first country they entered the EU as we were no long party to the Dublin agreement, which in turn is the reason why so many asylum seekers come to the UK on small boats because they know that outside the EU the mechanism to return them no longer exists I.e. all of this was created by the Conservatives and Labour are now in. the process of trying to fix this, and while they've done some positive things they still have a long way to go, including doing the thing which they repeatedly called for in opposition but still haven't done in government: safe and legal routes
