From 2023, David Platt is terribly misguided about the Cross. He says the Cross makes a true multiethnic community possible. No, the Cross was the punishment where Jesus paid for our sins to satisfy his Father. God imputes the righteousness and suffering of Jesus to those who are in Him and imputes the sins of those redeemed to Christ. Of course, as you listen to this, it became about Trump.

I upset the Orthobros on here when I posted that the Wilsons aren’t Christian. They said “how dare you declare whether or not someone is a Christian!” Here is my response (watch til the end for the most ironic part of all of this): Scripture itself tells us that it is OBVIOUS who is saved and that we can discern who is and who is not a child of God. “By this the children of God and the children of the devil are OBVIOUS: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother and sister.” 1 John 3:10 Yes, Christians will still continue to sin, as Romans 7 tell us. Sanctification is certainly messy, there’s no denying that. But someone who has been supernaturally made new by the Holy Spirit will have a real heart change. Regeneration is not an inconsequential experience. It will be obvious to people. The supernatural work of the Holy Spirit is a powerful one. Someone who is made a child of God will bear the family resemblance. No one can be born again and continue to comfortably stay in the mud with the pigs. They might occasionally still fall into the mud, they might still have dirt on their clothes even after they get up, but they will hate it when they do and will live in a humble manner before God crying “have mercy on me, a sinner.” They will pursue righteousness and have a deep deep love for others. And when they are confronted about their sin by others, they repent. So yes, we can look at someone living in a hateful unrighteous arrogant manner for years on end, even after being confronted about it, and determine that they are not of the Lord.

VERY IMPORTANT WARNING As we have been praying every first 7 days of the month for Nigeria for over 3yrs now. God has spoken a lot of things and i have no doubt that a new Nigeria is upon us. I tried to depict a picture of the new Nigeria 🇳🇬 i see in this video. A Nigeria where righteousness, truth and justice reigns. Nigeria will experience a nation being born in a day. We are approaching the end of a pharohic order in Nigeria 🇳🇬 🥲But before these we are entering a very tough season of lack, unrest and intense hardship, many will be sept away because pharaohs don’t know how to let go. We need to return to GOD! THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA. We need to repent. We need to go back to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to drop our pride and repent. We need to divorce the love for mammon. We are meant to be the light and salt of the earth. We need to be leading the way in righteousness. We need to stand and defend truth and justice. We need to stop the mixture with the world. NIGERIANS 🇳🇬 We need to repent from all our wickedness and turn to God! We need to stop being wicked to ourselves. We need to speak up and stand for truth. PREPARE AHEAD Engage the communion Don’t be selfish We need to store food We need to farm We should not be solely dependent on the banks(be wise) Give thanks (be thankful) Give to God and give to men. Watch your utterance.(don’t curse what you want to enjoy) We must let God order our steps. Pray and keep our relationship with the Holy Spirit. This world was created for Adam to have dominion over it and fellowship with God. After Adam (our legal representative) sinned all of humanity fell into sin with him and he forfeited his rights over earth to Satan. That’s why the world is the way it is because it’s the devils world. People want to blame God for satans conspiracy using his puppets (celebs and government officials) of influence and Gods judgement on nations for rejecting God the Son Jesus. But this is foolishness when people are mad at God , blame him for the worlds problems and refuse to repent. What is the truth? God this son took on human nature, came from heaven to earth, in order to become our new legal representative. The God man. Then he fulfilled all righteousness, qualifying him as the just and justifier, and the savior. After full perfect submission to his father he, as planned since before creation, humbly went to the cross in which he received the full undiluted wrath deserved by everyone (past present and future) that would trust in Jesus by faith for forgiveness of sins. This means he suffered in our place as if he was punished for our crimes and then died in our place. The full penalty. Once for all, publicly witnessed, historically recorded and now proclaimed in all the earth. Now risen since day 3, he sits at the right hand of the father and demands all people everywhere to repent and believe the gospel. This means to turn from known sin and trust and obey Jesus words and everything the Bible says about him. Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned or worked for. It’s by grace through faith.

If God is not in control of this completely, then how and when will He get the knowledge and the power to get it under control? And I would ask you this: would you rather have a God trying to get control of evil, or a God completely in control of it? Take your choice. But the God of the Bible is in complete control of evil for His own purposes. It is really heresy to say that the world is full of evil apart from a predetermined plan and purpose by God that is far above the willy-nilly choices of people. So, what do we know up to now? Evil exists, God exists. God wills evil to exist. He did not create it, He could not create it, but He did not prevent it. He ordained it, He willed it - here it comes, listen carefully - because He had a purpose for it; He had a purpose for it - a purpose. This is critical: He had a purpose for evil. What is that purpose that God had for evil? Before I answer that question - and that’s the fourth in our little outline - let me read the Westminster Confession from the 1700s; some great theologians and biblical scholars put this together. Listen carefully: “God, from all eternity, did, by the most wise and holy counsel of His own will, freely, and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass:“ Yet so, as thereby neither is God the author of sin, nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures; nor is the liberty or contingency of second-hand causes taken away ... sinfulness proceeds not only from the creature; proceeds only from the creature and not from God, who, being most holy and righteous, neither ... can be the author and approver of sin.” But then, says the Westminster Confession, all that God decrees and all that God providentially brings to pass is all to the praise of His glory - and they got it right.The reason for God ordaining evil is for the praise of His glory. Let me ask you a simple question to help you answer the question - the bigger question: is God more glorious because of sin existing or less glorious? Pretty easy question to answer, isn’t it? That really is the ultimate question. Throughout all the eons of eternity, will God receive more glory from His creatures because sin existed or less? And, friends, that’s really all that matters, is the eternal glory of God. So, it’s fourth down, and we’re on the ten-yard line, and I’m pulling out the winning play and we’re going for six for the victory. Turn to Romans 3 - and I want you to track with me a little bit; can’t take time to develop all of this, but I’m going to give you a good start. Wish I could build context; we don’t have time. But let’s look at chapter 3 and verse 5. Opening statement: “But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say?” Grab that phrase: our right - unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God. And Paul uses the first of a series of verbs; this one happens to be sunistēmi, translated demonstrates in the New American Standard. It is a verb that means to disclose, to reveal, to put on display, to show. Our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God. Another way to say that would be, would you really understand the righteousness of God if you didn’t understand unrighteousness? Isn’t there something to be gained by the contrast? Paul has been showing that God is faithful to His promises to Israel, and their sin and unbelief cannot alter God’s covenant, cannot alter God’s faithfulness.

Mike Huckabee, in a clip from a late 2025 interview, says that Christians have a "moral debt" to repay the Jews for their role in Christianity. Huckabee, seemingly speaking for all Christians, says "we" look at this as an obligation to serve Jews. Huckabee misrepresents Genesis 12, which depicts a promise from God to Abraham: He will make a nation from him, and those who bless Abraham will be blessed. The modern dispensationalist error contradicts the writings of the early Church, including Paul’s epistles to the Galatians, which state that Christians are those who have received the Promise through Faith in Christ. Paul makes this claim in his writings to the Romans as well, declaring that it is not the adherence to Jewish law that makes one a recipient to Abraham's promise, but Faith in God, which has been revealed, in the New Testament, as Faith in Christ. Huckabee's misrepresentation distorts both the message of the Gospel and the New Testament, which show that the Old Covenant is fulfilled, and that the "Holy Land" and the descendants of Jacob are no greater or of higher importance than the lands of the Gentiles and the peoples that inhabit them, so long as they have Faith in Christ.
