The Beatles I’ve Got A Feeling

The Beatles never needed a stadium. On that raw January rooftop they proved a handful of modest Fender amps could still split the air and shake an entire city. “I’ve Got a Feeling” doesn’t politely emerge from those cabinets — it erupts. The sound is thick, snarling, slightly dirty, and ferociously alive, as if the amps themselves are straining, trembling, barely containing something volcanic and too big for their size. Paul’s vocal rides the crest of it with that unmistakable mix of gravelly rasp and soaring sweetness, while John’s guitar and voice lock in beside him like two old conspirators finishing each other’s sentences with sudden, electric force. Even Ringo’s drums and George’s fills feel urgent, unpolished, and fiercely present. It is the last time they would play in public, yet it sounds like the first time anyone ever plugged in. Four men, a few modest amps, a grey London sky, and a feeling that still refuses — defiantly, thunderously — to stay on the roof.

👍👍👍👍👍

The Beatles performed their famous rooftop concert on January 30, 1969-their final public

my favorite

We would have got a few more years out of them if they’d gone back to performing live after this. They would have fallen in love with it, and each other, again

The take that was used on the album. Great live performance. The studio creativity was amazing, but they were at heart still a tight rock and roll band.

the Beatles being the Beatles-making history

Oh yeah 🎶

Love this song

They looked so happy to be playing out!

The police - being police - spoil the fun.
