Most fun I've ever seen Ringo have.

Ringo’s killin’ it! (Yes, the whole band), but those #Ludwig’s are alive! - The triplet thing he’s doing at the end, crashing each cymbal on the one… going for the gusto, and getting the job done! (With complete authority.)

Yes, The Beatles played rock and roll with authority. A much better live band than The Stones. Watch Gimme Shelter, and then watch Get Back. In 1969, there's no contest.

People forget what a hardcore work ethic they had, Paul especially. That’s partly what made them so good- they simply outworked everyone else.

This is what I imagine they sounded like at about 3am after a long run in Hamburg.

Ringo really bringing the heat

Should go without saying. But I think it sometimes goes under the radar. As a live band, they could and did kick some serious arse!

The Beatles weren´t technically the best instrumentalists, but they sounded better than all superbands with super-instrumentalists. Creating great rock is about more than being technically perfect.

Ringo doesn't get enough credit for being able to hit a moving target.

I think the 1964 concert in DC was probably the closest we'll ever get to seeing what the Beatles had been like in Hamburg, before Brian Epstein made 'gentlemen' out of them.
