Maneuverability and onboard sensors and AI/software would make these not only highly effective against the moving targets, but also very survivable, by helping them maneuver away from the approaching missiles. On the other hand, fins near the warhead can achieve a similar level of maneuverability without adding as much engineering and actuator cost and weight!

Yeah, this crap will never make it to the actual battlefield. Conventional ailerons are simpler and more effective. This tech is just visually appealing to newbies, nothing more.
