Over 20 hours of content ranging from: • Probability theory • Regression analysis • Portfolio Management Giving you a great introduction with no student debt needed.

2. Financial Theory by Yale University. 26 hours over a full semester reviewing the key statistical concepts in finance. It provides a solid foundation and includes many examples, although it is a bit outdated. Nonetheless, the information remains quite valuable.

3. Quantitative trading strategies by Liu Peng. Focuses on different quantitative trading strategy types and their possible implementation through Python. While it lacks some key theory/practices mentioned in earlier lectures from MIT and Yale, it is a lot more hands-on.

4. Kent Daniel: Price Momentum by Columbia Business School. This singular lecture serves as an excellent resource for anyone looking to understand or develop a momentum strategy. He also gives examples by going over a popular paper called: "Value and Momentum Everywhere"

These serve as a great introduction, and while a bit outdated, many practices and ideas remain true today. If you find this type of content valuable & want more every week: 1. Follow me @GoshawkTrades for more. 2. Jump to the top & retweet.

🤣 MIT and Lo in particular are testaments to the phrase "those who can't, teach" AlphaSimplex funds are pure trash

Why would the math be better from "top universities in the world"? Math is math. Why would the teaching be better? There are precisely zero hiring metrics used by universities geared towards teaching ability. A math tweet that argues from authority tells you all you need to know.
