The Biden Administration has truly abdicated its responsibility to enforce the immigration laws on the books. Texas has a constitutional right to defend and protect itself. We will continue to hold the line.

The military takes an oath to the constitution which says states shall be protected from invasion. Bidens now ordering the military to defy the document they swear to at the expense of our national security. This is treason.

Mr. Abbott is conveniently ignoring how Republicans in Congress are obstructing all efforts to improve the border because they want to campaign on the issue, not solve it. Instead of putting pressure on Republicans to take action, he is intentionally breaking federal law, defying the federal government, and dismissing a ruling by the Supreme Court. That is partisan politics at its worst and it is using millions of human lives as pawns in a disgusting game. To top it all off neither Abbott nor any Republican can point to a border or immigration law that is not being enforced. It is a blanket lie used to skirt all responsibility.

Do not bend the knee and do not cower away from the Biden administration. Texas has your back. You have to have ours.
