How come the "Debt Relief" doesn't include going after the schools and predatory lenders who screwed over the students? You are giving them a free pass while transferring that burden to Tax Payers

He’s had 4 years to do this. He’s only revisiting this topic because it’s an election year and he’s trying to trick young people to support him. Slimey

There’s no such thing as “student debt cancellation”. They call it “student debt relief” because it relieves students from the debt they’ve incurred and transfers it to the national debt. Making every American citizen pay for it.

Government loans a person money. Person doesn’t pay it back. Government has other taxpayers cover their debt. Government creates programs that co-fund their down payment on a home, and secure the mortgage of the home when the market is at a multi year high… Guess what happens after the market drops? The bank seizes and sells the home, taxpayers cover the loss. Borrower has their credit further ruined, taxpayers bail out even more debt and deal with more inflation, while banks profit on fees and a real estate investor buys a cheap, distressed asset. Bidenomics!

And how many millions of working Americans—who did not incur debt that they could not pay off—will get relief? Working people without student loans also want to “buy houses” and “start families.”
