The fact that Trump is walking back those tariffs really undermines his own argument that it's only foreigners that pay the tariffs and that consumers are not going to be hurt. Now we have a situation where the White House is arguing that removing tariffs will lower prices on groceries. It's kind of hard to make sense of.

They don't get subsidies anymore, so they're in a lot of trouble. And the people in charge are — they don't know how to fix it, so they have to get new people in charge.
