The fact that anyone EVER got upset about being misled by a trailer as to not spoil the plot is fucking insane to me.

I don’t care what anyone says, this is false advertisement. Neil admitted himself it was to throw people off who were guessing that Joel died. I love TLOU2 but this decision will never be right in my mind

If the trailer shows too much it’s “spoiling” the game. If the trailer tries to obfuscate information so they won’t spoil the game it’s false advertisement. No win scenario

It was a smart way to keep the story a surprise

People seem to forget this only happened because of the leaks. It was a last minute thing they did. I don’t blame them 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was messed up what that leaker did
