The birth of a dolphin [📹 Mark Peterson]

It started swimming right away. Damn!

I truly love to watch this giving birth it's incredible I never got the opportunity to have a child in my life. I couldn't have babies but to see it in the wild is beautiful. In a human is beautiful also. I wish I could have a baby yeah I do.. 🧏🏼‍♀️🥺🌹✨

Aww, that's fin-tastic! 🐬 So cool to see new life under the sea! 😊

Dolphin labor doesn't drag on. When Allison, a Brookfield Zoo Chicago bottlenose, gave birth to a male calf, the whole thing wrapped in under two hours. Captive births bring built-in support: at Dolphin Quest Hawaii, Keo delivered with grandmother Pele and aunt Noelani swimming beside her the entire time. Whether open ocean or managed lagoon, the routine barely changes.

Wow the little one is full of energy.

Dolphins are such fascinating & wonderful creatures!🩷

Beautiful!! 🐬 ❤
