POETRY: A child is born with no state of mind Blind to the ways of mankind God is smiling on you, but he's frowning too Because only God knows what you'll go through You'll grow in the ghetto living second-rate And your eyes will sing a song of deep hate

Maybe it started much earlier… Check this one:

@AfricanArchives Meanwhile you’ve got Lil Yachty that’s probably one of the worst rappers of all time saying that this era didn’t make good music 🤡

...and not a latino in sight? Didn't Fat Joe said hispanics created Hip-hop? hahaha!

Grandmaster Flash and his crew actually hated "The Message" at first because it felt too "heavy" for the Bronx party scene. It was Sylvia Robinson (Sugar Hill Records boss) who pushed them to release it, changing hip-hop forever. 🎤🏙️ 🤔 Fun fact: Grandmaster Flash himself doesn't actually perform on the track; the vocals are strictly Melle Mel and session musician Duke Bootee, who wrote most of the lyrics. Did you know? 🤯

@AfricanArchives Rest my uncle soul, was his favorite song

And then the demons in hollywood took over and dudes started devil worshipping and wearing dresses
