It has complete control over the phone. It can see the UI, choose/download apps, tap/type, call, and run multi-step task chains. Here I just say (in English) “find someone to wait in line for me” (something you can do in China), and it picks which app to open, configures the job, and hands me one confirm screen. I wouldn’t otherwise know how to do this, and here the phone just did it in a matter of seconds.

Gemini for Android is here! This new app makes it easier to access Google's chatbot, powered by the Gemini Pro LLM, right from your Android device. You can ask Gemini a question by tapping the launcher icon or long-pressing the power button. Once invoked, the Gemini overlay lets you enter a text or text+image prompt. You can tap the camera icon to snap a photo or press the "add this screen" button to take a screenshot of the current page to include in your prompt. The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. How can you long-press the power button to invoke Gemini if that gesture is handled by Google Assistant? The answer is that the Gemini Android app can replace Google Assistant as your default assistant if you want, meaning all the ways you'd normally invoke Google Assistant on your phone can instead invoke Gemini. Today I'm excited to share Sigilum! This is Payman's solution for Auditable Identity for AI Agents. (think One Password-ish but for AI Agents) I recorded a quick walkthrough showing how it all works (video below). This answers three pains we've seen within Financial Services (Banking) AI Agents we've built and OpenClaw🦞 AI Agents we deploy. Security, Auditability, and Control. 1. Security Making sure keys are secure and not just freely given to an AI Agent is a big deal. When working with money, you can't just expose these or skip putting controls in place. Sigilum provides a local gateway that prevents access to keys by the AI Agent without explicit authorization from a person. We provide namespaces through the service so you always know who authorized what key, for what service, to which agent. 2. Auditability If I could hit on the importance of this 100 times I would. It comes up in every financial services conversation. Sigilum provides you with the answer to "Who authorized this AI Agent to act on my behalf?" Audit logs trace back to the person, the service, and the AI Agent. With more audit logs being built through our managed service, this will be the key source for determining how an AI Agent is behaving on your behalf. This is needed for agents from OpenClaw, and especially for banking/money movement. 3. Control Revoke keys, limit access, grant authorization. All seemingly simple things, but complex to implement and make elegant. These controls dictate what the AI Agent can or cannot do. Sigilum allows you to do all of this through the managed Dashboard. We've made Sigilum open source and encourage others to contribute and keep building on the gateway. It's been a source of a lot of visibility and productization of AI Agents for us. Today we are excited to open up Neuracore to the academic community! Neuracore is a new data foundation built to accelerate robot learning by removing one of the field’s biggest bottlenecks: capturing and working with high-fidelity multimodal robotics data. For the first time, researchers can store, view, and work with robotics data in a cloud-native system built specifically for large-scale learning, and we are making this core platform completely free for academia. The platform lets teams capture every sensor at its native rate, store and visualize data without loss, and then train and deploy models locally using our open-source code (Link in the comments). We are rolling out access to select academic institutions first. Anyone with an academic email can sign up, and if your institution is not part of the initial rollout, you will be able to join the waitlist directly. Beyond providing this infrastructure, we see an opportunity to build a global community where engineers and researchers can share, collaborate, and advance the frontier of robot learning together. Supported by our recent $3M pre-seed round led by Earlybird VC, we are excited to take this mission even further. Our long-term goal is for Neuracore to become the natural home for cutting-edge robot learning algorithms and real-world robotics experimentation, helping accelerate the next wave of Physical AI.
