Backrooms definitely reminded me at times of The Blair Witch Project. The biggest, most obvious similarity between the two films is the use of “found footage” to help intensify the unknown. Backrooms director Kane Parsons, age 20, strikes me as both a lover & a student of Cinema.

Lost and Found tells the inspiring story of humanity in the world’s largest refugee camp. The film follows Kamal Hussein, a Rohingya refugee who has dedicated his life to reuniting children with their parents with the support of the double Nobel Prize-awarded organisation, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). UNHCR was the first UN organisation to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and they received the prize both in 1954 and 1981.
