A Boeing 767 cargo plane operated by FedEx was flying from New Jersey to Indianapolis when it suffered a bird strike, causing one of engines to burst into flames. The plane safely made an emergency landing back at Newark Airport. There were no injuries reported.

Now, then, as most of you know, the F-5 doesn't have the thrust-to-weight ratio that the MiG-28 has. And, it doesn't bleed energy below 300 knots like the MiG-28. However, the MiG-28 does have a problem with its inverted flight tanks. It won't do a negative G push over. 🤌 🎥 @patrsuisse 🇨🇭 🧀

A Lufthansa Boeing aircraft's nose landing gear collapsed whilst parked at the gate at Frankfurt airport earlier today Was the downlock pin not inserted or inserted somewhere it wasn't supposed to be? Here's the full surveillance video showing moments before the Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 (D-ABPQ) nose gear collapsed at Frankfurt. If you watch closely, the nose landing gear doors open first, indicating what appears to be the start of a normal landing gear retraction sequence. According to reports, the Dreamliner had logged a maintenance request the previous day involving a landing gear door error message. On the Boeing 787, maintenance personnel can place the aircraft into a special maintenance mode (on the overhead panel, turn switch to "enable"). Boeing manuals emphasize that if maintenance mode is enabled, hydraulics are powered, and the gear lever is selected UP, the landing gear can retract regardless of weight-on-wheels protection. To prevent this, there's an override button where the gear handle lockout can be bypassed to move the gear handle even if it is locked out. The only way this can happen is by intentionally bypassing the normal safety lockouts used during maintenance procedures. Outside of maintenance or certain emergency procedures, the aircraft's weight-on-wheels system prevents gear retraction on the ground. Lufthansa says the aircraft has since been recovered. Fuel was removed, the jet was lifted, the nose gear was re-extended, and the aircraft was successfully towed under its own weight to a maintenance hangar. Germany's Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation has completed evidence collection from the aircraft and is now gathering witness statements. 🚨 JUST IN: New footage has been released of a United 767 CLIPPING a light pole and a delivery trucks while landing at Newark Airport This could’ve been SO much worse. Thank God it wasn’t. The delivery driver has also been discharged from the hospital after suffering minor cuts from the incident. Runway 29, which is the runway flight 169 was landing on, is infrequently used and is on the short-side for a 767, per reports.

❗️ A Russian Orion strike drone appears to have crashed beside the highway leading out of Crimea near Kerch. Russian tourists waiting at the Kerch Bridge checkpoint to leave Crimea from the Kerch side on June 26, 2026, filmed burning UAV wreckage in a field next to them. According to those at the scene, the drone was shot down directly overhead by air defenses. Based on what is visible from this angle, the wreckage bears a resemblance to a Russian Orion strike UAV, although the available footage is not ideal. But most likely, it was one of the Russian Orion drones based at the Kerch airfield that was either brought down by Russia's paranoid air defenses or decided to self-destruct, which, in the case of the Orion, is not uncommon, as these drones have a well documented tendency to crash during landing.

Arrived at the gym flat. Not tired. Not injured. Just that particular flatness where the weights feel like a chore and you're not sure whether anything is going to happen today. Loaded the machine press anyway. Sat down. Looked at the weight. Thought about Keith. Keith does not assess his mood before eating a bramble. Keith does not arrive at the fence and think "I'm a bit flat today, maybe I'll have a look tomorrow." Keith arrives, identifies the weak point, applies methodical consistent pressure until the fence does something, files the result away, and does it again. The fence doesn't care how Keith feels. The bramble doesn't require Keith to be motivated. The machine press does not require you to feel like it. Pressed the weight. The weight moved. Obviously the weight moved. It always moves when you make it.
