I'm in favour of bonfires, but it's clear too many sites have serious issues—residents under siege for months, rubbish issues, safety risks, sectarianism and paramilitary involvement. These problems need to be addressed. Certain 'Loyalists' are demonising the bonfire culture.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude, than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. Crouch down & lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, & may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." -Samuel Adams

Pity you don't extend the same logic to Irish language schools, bilingual signs and GAA clubs. Or is it only your culture that has rights?

It’s about drug taking , getting drunk and fighting , it’s about singing sectarian songs , damaging property and much more

Hate pyres, bedecked in symbols of hate, that turn your communities into open-air dumps for almost four months of the year. Used to kick off the biggest day of hate in the year with countless examples of 'hymns' that include derogatory phrases against the Catholic community.

When your culture is burning used tyres and pallets you should maybe think about having a word with yourself!

Why do the people organising bonfires need "investment"? Investment for what and from who?

This should be pretty simple. Don't put bonfires beside houses. I actually agree with Nolan. Anyone who cannot understand that concept is completely stupid ✅

It's about burning toxic rubbish and taking loads of coke.

Read the room. You're adding to a stereotype that involves no care for your community, drunks and drugs. Respect your culture by expanding it, not allowing it rot.

A kulture built around burning stolen property.... No decent human could live with the shame of that.
